Become a Volunteer
Affinity Healthcare Resources is fortunate to have a great team of volunteers. These wonderful individuals from our community generously donate their time to help our patients and their families in their time of need. Like the rest of our team, our volunteers are fully vetted and educated on our procedures. Volunteers perform limited tasks and occupy roles within the scope of their respected practice and are not certified medical professionals - but they deliver all the support and care with 100% of their being.
Here are some ways that our volunteers assist our patients and their families:
- Companionship: being an open heart and ear.
- Caregiver relief: standing in when a break is needed.
- Helping with day-to-day: light household tasks, running errands.
- Taking walks: a walk and talk is a great way to process emotions.
- Family support: in-person and via phone calls to family and friends during loss.
